    1. Nice article…thanks for the link. Sounds spot on. She’s right, crystals, aromatherapy, pendulums, intuition development – it all integrates very well with Reiki because universal energy is well, universal…including in plants, crystals. Because of that one-ness and resonance, you can use reiki to lift the energy of inanimate objects too, like meditation beads. Sometimes I’ll infuse Reiki into an object that a person likes to wear (like a ring or a bracelet) to help them connect better with distance treatments (level 2). I’ve tweeked the website so that more of this kind of background information is easier to find. The reiki page is If you really want to dive in, “Reiki: Universal Life Energy” by Bodo Baginski (I know, right?) is a fantastic beginners book. If you want to go deeper, then I’d recommend anything by Frank Arjeva Petter or Walter Leubeck (all on amazon). He’s a bit of a drive for you all, but Tom Beardshaw here in the South Hills ( is my pick for teachers. Very grounded, no-nonsense, very knowledgable, trustworthy. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask…I promise that I won’t any more than make a no-identity blog post out of it 😉
